About Minsterley Community Nursery

We are a happy and caring community Nursery.  We aim to provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age.

 

We are situated in the village of Minsterley, approximately 10 miles from Shrewsbury, and we occupy the old school house, which is adjacent to the existing Primary School.  We maintain excellent links with Minsterley School and share some facilities and activities with Class 1, such as the cycle track, fixed climbing equipment and weekly story sack sessions.  We occupy 2 floors of the building as well as use of a larger room which we share with school.  We have a large secure garden, which we use throughout the year, and the use of the school hall for periodic PE lessons.

 

As a member of Minsterley Nursery, your child:

• Has the chance to join with other children and adults to play, work and learn together;

• Is helped to take forward his/her learning and development building on what he/she already knows and can do;

• Is in a pre-school, which sees you as a partner in helping your child to learn and develop.

• Is in a pre-school in which parents help to shape the service it offers.

• Will be involved in as many community events as possible and join up with local churches and school throughout the year.

 

Minsterley Nursery is a registered charity.  We are inspected by OFSTED.
